We hope this message finds you safe and well, with not too much cleanup from the intense storms over the past two days. We wanted to give you ample time to be made aware of the change in this evening’s football game due to widespread power outage in the area that includes Carlson High School. Currently, DTE is estimating our power at CHS to be out until at least tomorrow.
The Carlson vs. Airport varsity football game will now be hosted by our neighbors at Trenton High School at 7pm tonight (August 25th). Carlson fans can find parking in the the Charlton Rd and the West Rd. lots. Carlson Family and student passes will still be honored, however, Trenton, like many schools in the state and MHSAA, will be selling game tickets exclusively online through gofan.co. Advanced tickets can be purchased using this link: https://gofan.co/event/1105779?schoolId=MI10102 and can also be purchased cash free at the gate with a credit card reader. We encourage you to avoid the lines and purchase in advance. However, we will have a very small cash line for those unable to access the site due to outage issues. Please purchase tickets online to avoid long lines. Also, if you have already purchased family passes, Mrs. Greear will have them printed for you at the front of the cash line at the main gate. If you planned to purchase passes at the first game, save your ticket receipt and the cost will be deducted from your pass at a later purchase date. Gates will open at 6pm.
Seniors over 62 and kids under 6 are free of charge at Trenton.
There will also be a full concession stand available courtesy of the Trenton booster club and it will take cash or credit. We look forward to seeing you all tonight for the 7 pm start at Trenton High School. Go Marauders!
