Creative Cinema Club members on stage

Last Friday, the auditorium at Carlson High School was transformed into a hub of creativity and talent as students gathered to enjoy the Creative Cinema Club showcase. As a PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Reward, the showcase featured a variety of acts, including stand-up comedy, skits, short films, dancing, and singing, highlighting the diverse talents of the students.

The showcase featured several musical performances, with students showcasing their vocal talents through a series of solo and group performances. One song that was performed was "Say My Name" from the hit musical Beetlejuice. The singers wowed the audience with their powerful voices and emotional performances, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

The stand-up routine had the crowd in stiches, as did many of the different skits that were performed. The skits ranged from a bank robbery gone wrong, a murder mystery, a tv game show with some interesting contestants, and modern day teenagers being teleported back into the 80s. While the short films featured a reimagined version of a popular Dhar Man video, and a riveting mystery.

We could not be more proud of all of the Seahawks that made this event a success. We also cannot stress how impressed we all are by the Creative Cinema Club members that had the bravery and courage to step on the stage in front of their peers and show off their talents whether it be singing, dancing, or acting; but we are also very impressed with all of the Creative Cinema Club members who were behind the scenes and in the booth making sure the event ran smoothly while their friends were performing.
