Next stop...the 100th day of school. Tentatively, it should be February 16th!

Our Town Hall was a DOUBLE celebration on Friday! We celebrated students of the month for both December and January after out January Town Hall was cancelled due to snow. Keep it up Pirates!

Our grade level PBIS winners from December had a belated sundae lunch with Mrs. Aherne on Thursday. They brought a friend and were all smiles.

Thank you Xavier for visiting from CHS! Mr Putek was recognized for being an influential teacher in Xavier's life and was invited to a special hockey game on Thursday.

Our Lighthouse Leaders met to provide some leadership for our school this week. Students brainstormed ideas for updated school expectations posters. Lifetouch will be working with them next month to provide new posters and yearbook candid shots. Students also made posters for our updated fundraiser with Kiwanis for Children with Hair Loss. Students will be collecting a variety of supplies to donate. Stay tuned!

Thank you PTO for our Space Dome assembly. It was fascinating and the students loved the dome! We learned all about space, galaxies, our planets, and the first astronauts on the moon.

Parsons staff had so much fun passing out candy canes to all of our students this morning!

More Club Fun! Playdough, Reading, Legos, Science, and Yoga Club!

We had our second Clubs today. Students who consistently followed PBIS expectations were able to enjoy time at their club today! So much fun at Art, Board Games, Dodgeball, Harry Potter, Friendship Bracelets, Dog, and Dance Club!

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear! Watch out Broadway! Here we come!

Our K, 1, 2 students did an amazing job singing and dancing at our Christmas Concert! Look at them shine!

WatchDOGS you are the BEST! Thank you to all of the dads, grandpas, uncles, and father figures that continue to support our students weekly!

Parsons was so honored to hold our Veteran's Day Assembly to honor those who have served in our Armed Forces, including those who have sacrificed for our country. We had 18 veterans who were able to attend and six veterans spoke to our students. Our scouts led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Our 2nd and 3rd graders sang "On Veteran's Day" and "Veterans March." Sammy DeAngelo played taps. Thank you veterans for all you have done for us and continue to do.

We had a great Town Hall this week with lots of excitement. We announced Student of the Month for Kindness and our Fun Run winners!

Lots of fun and learning in Specials this week!
