Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Month? A big thank you to the Guidance Center for coming to present to our 4th and 5th graders about Bullying. We learned to Recognize, Report, Refuse! Our upper elementary students will have several more sessions this month.

Thank you to all the fathers and father figures who joined us last night for our WatchDOGS kickoff! We had over 160 "dads" and students! We can't wait for WatchDOGS to begin on October 10th! If you are still interested, please ask your teacher for a Volunteer Form. A big thank you to our PTO president and vice president for helping us out!

We ended our first week of school with our first Town Hall meeting! Our Pirates were such awesome participants! They cheered on each other, followed school expectations, and had fun! What a blessing it is to be a Parsons Pirate!

Here is the School Supply List again. You are welcome to bring school supplies to Open House so students do not have such a heavy backpack the first day! You do not need to purchase everything on the list. Any supplies are appreciated, especially Kleenex and wipes! If you are in need of school supplies or a backpack for your child, please reach out to Mrs. Aherne.
