Hi there, Lakeshore community! I am Mrs. Montry and I will be your counselor at Lakeshore. Until this year, I have been in Ohio my entire life. I am looking forward to continuing my journey into Michigan to be closer to family. I am so excited to get to know each of you and help you reach your potential!

I am a proud two-time graduate from the University of Toledo, where I first received my Bachelors in Psychology and afterwards got my Master’s in Counselor Education. I love getting to teach people about their brains and how they work!

When I’m not at school, I’m usually chasing around my son, my two cats, or my dog (sometimes all four at once!)  I enjoy reading, gardening, and playing video games in my downtime. If you have a nerdy interest, chances are I enjoy it too!

My role as a Counselor is to help you with your classes, planning for the future, and helping you succeed as a student at Lakeshore. Please do not hesitate to reach out and set up a time to chat!
