The Gibraltar Globetrotters are excited to announce that we will be having a final informational meeting for our upcoming trips to Greece (spring break 2026) and Costa Rica (summer 2026). The goal of the Globetrotters is to provide opportunities for GSD students and their families to see the world.
We will be holding the informational meeting next Wednesday, September 17th at 6:00p in the Carlson Media Center on the 2nd floor. Here are a few highlights of the trips:
Athens & the Greek Islands - Spring Break 2026: Highlights include visits to several historical treasures, such as the Parthenon and the site of the Oracle at Delphi, Greek culture and food nights, and a 4 day cruise to the beautiful Greek Islands.
Costa Rica - July 2026: Highlights of this adventure include a hike in Volcano National Park, visits to La Fortuna Waterfall and the Arenal Hot Springs, kayaking, zip lining, white water rafting, and experiencing the local culture through music and food.

Exams start today, it is a full day of school. Wednesday 6/11/25 and Thursday 6/12/25 are half-days for students. Dismissal time is 10:50 a.m.

Happy Graduation Day, here is information for later today - Graduation is 6/6 at 6:30 pm in Marauder Stadium - Our gates will open at 5:00 pm for seating. Please plan to carpool as it is always a highly attended event. For family and friends who can't make it, graduation will be live-streamed at this link: https://youtube.com/live/Gad6ORoGBiE

Attention Class of 2025 - Senior Breakfast doors open at 8:15 with breakfast starting at 8:30 on 6/4/2025 in the cafeteria. Graduation rehearsal will follow and begin around 9:30. Graduation rehearsal is MANDATORY if you are planning to participate in the graduation ceremony. Once rehearsals are complete, you will report back to the auditorium to pick up Cap & Gowns. ALL FINES MUST BE PAID IN FULL in order to pick up your cap and gown package.

The lady Marauders played an awesome first game in the flag football finals tournament, beating Clawson 12-7 to advance on to the next round. Nice job, Marauders! 💙

The 10th Annual OAC Awards will take place May 17th in the Carlson High School Auditorium. Mocktail hour beings at 6 p.m. and the event will take place at 7 p.m. Tickets are $3 for students and $5 for adults. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

Reminder, The NHS Induction Ceremony is Thursday 5/15/25 with a 6:30 p.m. start time in the CHS Auditorium.
