Many classes are reading stories, watching videos, cleaning up litter, working in the garden, visiting the prairie, and planning composting!
Here are a few simple ideas you can try at home:
Plant a Tree Together: Whether in your yard or a community space, planting a tree is a beautiful way to give back to nature.
Go Plastic‑Free for the Day: Challenge your family to use reusable bags, bottles, and containers instead of single‑use plastics.
Start a Mini Herb Garden: Grow your own herbs indoors or in a small garden—it’s fun, reduces packaging waste, and adds freshness to your meals!
Nature Scavenger Hunt: Explore outdoors and discover local plants, insects, or birds. It’s a fantastic way to appreciate biodiversity.
