Congratulations to this fun and hilarious story for claiming the title of School Favorite! Thank you to all our students, teachers, and staff who participated and made this event such a success.
Our First Grade Hornets donned gloves, masks, and surgical caps and performed “surgery” on a collection of Non-Fiction Text Features. They surgically removed (cut out) the text features and carefully added them to the body of a flip book. The nurses (teachers) were able to assist and guide them as they completed this important work. Way to go first graders!
Hunter Hornets were reaching for the stars today! Mrs. Brown took all classes into Star Lab, the county’s inflatable planetarium! We saw common star constellations and heard constellation stories from the Greeks, Ancient Egyptians, and the Tewa, a Native American group of people. Students were amazed to hear different stories from the same group of stars and even some similarities from people who never met each other! We also studied the patterns of sky objects that move because the Earth rotates. Ask your student if they remember a constellation from today! 🤩✨⭐️🌟
