QU wedding was a blast this past week! Kinder & 1st grade enjoyed the ceremony of Q and U with Mrs. Roberts officiating. At the reception, we danced, blew bubbles to celebrate, and enjoyed yummy cake! Thank you to our wonderful K teachers for the fun celebration!!!

One of our fan favorite activities at Chapman is Jump Rope Ninja. Students work really hard at jumping rope for a few weeks to try and earn the highest belt they can. This year we had 9 students earn the prestigious black belt! Congrats to Gracelynn, Jimmy, Brycen, Allie, Zeke, Callie, Maddox, Andrew and Sophia for achieving your goal! It's that time again. Chapman Elementary will be collecting cereal for our Chapman families in need and Gibraltar pantry. Donations can be dropped off in the boxes by the office May 1 through May 31.

It was a wonderful night at the Kiwanis of Greater Gibraltar awards ceremony! Congratulations to Joessa Cox, 5th grade Youth Citizenship winner, and Lyla Monticello, our 4th grade Charity Essay winner (donation to Rebel Dogs Detroit). These 2 young ladies exude kindness, leadership, and excellence in all they do! We are so proud of you both! Thank you to Mrs. Wertanen and Mrs. Giorgi for your nominations.
