🛼🎉 Fourth Grade End-of-Year Celebration! 🎉🛼 Our Chapman Elementary fourth graders had an amazing time celebrating the end of a fantastic school year at United Skates in Lincoln Park! Students enjoyed skating, music, games, laughter, and making special memories with their classmates and teachers. It was a wonderful way to recognize all of their hard work, growth, and accomplishments throughout the year. We are so proud of our fourth graders and all they have achieved! A big thank you to our staff, families, and United Skates for helping make this celebration a success. We hope everyone had a rolling good time! 😊

🎉☀️ Field Day Fun at Chapman Elementary! ☀️🎉 What an amazing day of fun, teamwork, and memories at our Chapman Elementary Field Day! A huge thank you to Mrs. Kozicki for once again organizing an unforgettable day for our students. Your hard work, planning, and dedication made this special event a tremendous success. We would also like to thank our incredible staff and parent volunteers for their time, energy, and support. Your help kept everything running smoothly and ensured our students had a safe and enjoyable experience. One of the biggest highlights—and definitely a student favorite—was when the fire truck arrived and sprayed everyone with water! 🚒💦 The smiles, laughter, and excitement made for a perfect way to cool off and celebrate the day. Thank you to everyone who helped make Field Day such a wonderful experience for our Chapman Chargers. We are grateful for our amazing school community! ❤️⚡️

💙🎓 Today our fourth graders met with our third graders to share what it’s like to be a fourth grader at Chapman Elementary! They answered questions, shared their favorite memories, and offered advice to help our future fourth graders feel excited and prepared for next year. It was wonderful to see our students encouraging and supporting one another. Today our 4th grade students brought history to life with an amazing Wax Museum experience! 🇺🇸✨ Each student selected a prominent figure from American history, researched their life and accomplishments, created an informational poster, and transformed into their chosen historical figure. Visitors were treated to short speeches as students shared fascinating facts and stories about the people they portrayed. We were excited to welcome students from throughout the school, as well as parents and families, to visit our Wax Museum in the bus loop. It was wonderful to see our young historians proudly showcase their hard work, creativity, and presentation skills. Thank you to all of our families and visitors who came out to support our students. FULL CIRCLE MOMENT!! Today our Kindergarteners attended CHS graduation rehearsal. The graduating class of 2026 shared their wisdom with Chapman Kindergarteners, exchanging cards filled with advice for the future. In return, the Kindergarteners gifted the Seniors with adorable hand drawn pictures. Both groups also exchanged bears, each proudly displaying their graduation year. It was a surprise for the seniors during their graduation practice, making the moment even more special! WE ARE PROUD TO BE GSD!! #MarauderPride

🎓💙 Senior Walk Through – Class of 2026 💙🎓 Today, we had the privilege of welcoming back the amazing Class of 2026 to Chapman Elementary for their Senior Walk Through! As they walked the halls of their former elementary school in their caps and gowns, they were greeted with cheers, smiles, high-fives, and admiration from our current students and staff. It was a special moment to reflect on how far these seniors have come since their days at Chapman. From elementary classrooms to graduation, their journey is a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and determination can lead to incredible accomplishments. Our younger students were inspired to see what their future can hold, and our staff was proud to celebrate the successes of former Chapman students as they prepare for their next chapter. 🏙️ 3rd Grade Geometry Cities 2026🏙️ Our third graders wrapped up the year by putting their geometry skills to work in a BIG way! Using their knowledge of shapes, lines, angles, area, and spatial reasoning, students designed and built incredible Geometry Cities. From neighborhoods and parks to busy downtown districts, every city showcased creativity, teamwork, and a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. We are so proud of the hard work, problem-solving, and imagination our students demonstrated throughout this project. The finished cities were truly amazing, and it was exciting to see math come to life right before our eyes! Great job, third graders! 🍪🎉 PTO Treat Truck Day is THURSDAY! 🎉🍪
But wait - no money is needed! Say what?! Our amazing PTO is treating all students to a FREE Treat Truck during lunch on Thursday, June 4! This special event is our final Treat Truck visit of the school year and a fun way to celebrate our students. The Treat Truck will be available during all lunch periods, and every student will receive a free treat courtesy of our PTO.

This week at Chapman Elementary School, our library transformed into “Camper Wanna Read” and the excitement for reading has been everywhere! 📚⛺✨ Students have loved the fun camping-themed activities, cozy reading spots, and all the adventures found between the pages of a good book. A huge shoutout to Miss Kayla for the amazing job she did creating such a strong love of reading throughout our school. Had such a sweet time with our Peer to Peer friends from Upper Elementary during our butterfly release 🦋💛 Watching the butterflies take flight was such a beautiful reminder of growth, friendship, and new beginnings. Kindergarten students recently had a wonderful opportunity to witness one of nature’s most amazing transformations firsthand! After spending time learning about the butterfly life cycle and caring for their caterpillars as they grew and changed, students gathered outside to release their butterflies into the world. What an amazing experience our 5th graders had at Camp Michindoh! From outdoor adventures and team-building activities to unforgettable memories with friends, this trip was truly one for the books.
