The long standing tradition continues this November 20th, as Parsons participates in their annual Turkey Trot. The Turkey Trot is not just a school wide event but also a community event. With the support of the Gibraltar Police Department, the Gibraltar Fire Department, and also the US Border Patrol, the students of Parsons will participate in a one mile Trot around the local neighborhood before returning to Parsons. Parents, family members, and citizens of Gibraltar can often be spotted along the Trot route supporting our Pirates and giving them the encouragement they need to do their best. The Parsons Turkey Trot is a great tradition for students, staff, and families. The Turkey Trot provides our students with an opportunity to participate in a safe and fun event that not only promotes being physically active but also promotes being thankful for the many special things in their lives.
