October is National Bullying Prevention Month
In October at Hunter, we celebrate National Bullying Prevention Month and promote unity and inclusion within our school community. Students complete weekly activities/lessons that teach students the importance of ending bullying and how to be an upstander. Every staff and student sign an anti-bullying pledge and our halls are filled with anti-bullying banners that our students make. In addition, we host events and discussions that encourage kindness, respect, and empathy, fostering a positive environment where everyone feels valued. Together, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive school where bullying has no place and unity thrives. Please feel free to order a UNITY DAY SHIRT from the PACER'S website as they take 3-5 days to arrive or wear orange on October 16th.

Today, one of our 5th grade classes had the opportunity to partner with a Y5 class for a visit to the school library! 📚✨ The older students helped their younger buddies find books and check them out, fostering teamwork and a love for reading. It was such a joy to see the mentorship and excitement in the library!
