Weiss had another fantastic Career Day today! Our students had the opportunity to learn from professionals in various fields, including a firefighter, CEO, programmer, DTE lineman, electrical engineer, government worker, HVAC worker, interior designer for cabinets, K9 law enforcement officer, lawyer, nutritionist, occupational therapist, PE teacher, police officer, and software engineer. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers who made this insightful and enriching experience possible! Career Day is an annual event at our school aimed at exposing our kids to different career opportunities. The event highlights aspects of these jobs, how they foster a growth mindset, and emphasizes components related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
