Meet the Principal

A woman with long blond hairDear Parents, Staff, Students, and Community Members,

My name is Kelley Villa, the principal at Parsons Elementary School. It has been my privilege and honor to not only be the educational leader at Parsons Elementary School but to also be a member of the Gibraltar community. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning and growing with our students and working with our professional staff and you, the parents and community members. I have high expectations for myself, the staff, and students this year. I know that all of these expectations can become a reality with your help at home.

My educational experience includes 23 years as a classroom teacher and 5 years in administration. Each of these positions has helped me grow as a leader. In 2015, I became the proud principal at Parsons. During my last two years as the principal, my staff, PTO, and I have very worked closely together to make the school a great place for our students, staff, and community.

My philosophy has remained the same during my many years in education. I strongly believe that children will succeed when a partnership exists between home and school. Along with our staff, I will work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Parsons by building strong relationships with all of our stakeholders. It is also my hope that we will work TOGETHER to provide the students of Parsons the best possible opportunities in preparing them to be world class citizens ready to master the challenges of the 21st century with a solid foundation created at our school.

I am looking forward to working with you and your child this year. We have so many exciting things planned at Parsons for the 2016-2017 school year that will directly impact your child's academic growth and excitement for learning. As your principal, I will have an open door policy. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to making this year a safe, exciting, and educational one for all of our students, staff, and Parsons families.

In Partnership,

Kelley Villa
Principal
