Hi families! I am very fortunate to work in such a great district where we not only do what's best for kids, but we are a family and have such great families of our students who care about us as staff! Thank you so much for allowing me to work with your children. The social/emotional learning of all of our students is such an important aspect as well as academics. I intend to do my best to spread this awareness throughout our school to the best of my ability, here is to another successful year!

Prior to working for GSD, I worked with at-risk youth and their families at Wayne Youth Services. At WYS I worked as a case manager/group facilitator and took great pride helping restore and strengthen relationships within my clients' family system. In my free time, I enjoy being active and spending time with my pups, family, and friends.

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist in the Gibraltar School District for 15 years. Prior to that, I was a paraprofessional and substitute teacher. I am passionate about communication and supporting our early childhood students in reaching their communication potential.
I am a Wayne County Core Vocabulary Coach. This allows me to teach communication at many levels and meet the child where they are at. “If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn.” Ignacio Estrada
