Shumate ski/snowboard club ha started and they will be skiing at Mount Brighten. Charter buses will leave Shumate at 3:15 P.M., and will return by 10:00 P.M. The cost was $115.00 for four trips the costs gets you FREE lessons for skiing. The hill is closed for grooming between 5:00 and 5:30 P.M. That gives you time to warm up and eat at the snack bar. They will offer Pizza and Pop from Hungry Howies for $5.00. That will avoid the long wait in the snack bar. Mr. DeAngelo and Mr. Irwin STRONGLY urge every skier to wear a helmet.

        Extra Money For: (will be collected each time on the bus)

                                        Skier- boots and pole rental is $15.00.

                                        Boarder- Board and boots is $24.00.         

                                        Board only is $20.00

When you complete lesson four, with ski instructor's permision, you may upgrade to "All Area" for +$5.00. (each trip)

If you just want to use the rope tow, there are several runs at Mount Brighton.
