Over the past three months, the fourth grade students at Weiss Elementary have taken on the roles of marine biologists and created a stable environment to raise Chinook “King” Salmon for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

Parsons Elementary has proudly finished its third Drama Club season. The club, which has over 30 fourth and fifth grade students, took the stage at the Parsons’ Holiday Program.

Chapman Teachers are taking learning beyond the classroom

Mrs. LaButte involved all students and even staff members in a school wide estimation contest. During our snowy season students estimated how many snowballs it would take to fill up a cut out of Frosty the Snowman. There was one upper elementary and one lower elementary winner. The students really enjoyed making estimations.
